Belt Tensioner

Shop New OEM serpentine belt tensioner assemblies for GM vehicles. Our factory-original tensioners are sourced from manufacturer surplus — the same spring rate, pivot geometry, and pulley bearing specification as installed at the factory, in new and uninstalled condition.

A worn tensioner allows belt slip under load, causing squealing, alternator fluctuation, and premature belt wear. An OEM replacement maintains the correct belt tension across the full RPM range and temperature envelope of your engine.

Replace the belt and idler pulley at the same time as the tensioner for a complete drive system service. Verify part numbers against your existing tensioner before ordering.
